It’s Time to Part with the Clintons

Bill Clinton continues to assert that Obama's campaign is the one playing the race card. But did you hear what Jessica Yellin said at the end of her report when she was asked why Bill Clinton went off on her? It was on CNN yesterday (1/23/08). If you have not seen it, please do. Bill Clinton made some racial remarks as he addressed a town hall meeting in South Carolina. How in the world did we elect him as president? Well, as always, he is a politician and he sweet talked his way into the White House and made sure to take down anyone who stood in the way. That's the Clinton's machine at its best! How much more can we take from the Clintons as they weasel their way into the white house again? Remember guys the Clintons’ scandals of the 90's including..."I did not have sex with that woman..." when Bill Clinton in fact did, but was ready to do or say anything to get off the hook? (Just to digress, if she was that woman-my definition-a cheap slut-not better than your wife Hillary-why did you allow her to grope your… and blow your mind away?)

Did you see the other night how Hillary seemed like she wanted to refute Obama's claim that she sat on the board of Wal-Mart making about $18,000 a year? So...what are some of the "good things" Hillary did to improve the plight of Wal-Mart workers in the United States and around the world, as she sat on the board of Wal-Mart? As far as I know and even the documentaries show, things don't seem as she has stated.

Who is one of the first to criticize George Bush? Hillary Clinton. She wants to be seen as the one who has the ideas. But if she really has the ideas, why won't she try to voice them and get Republicans as well as Democrats to buy them? No, she just wants to be president! So, she keeps her ideas to herself, try to destroy the others as much as she can, screaming at the top of her lungs, "Pick me! Pick me! I have the ideas!" Why can you share them, darn it!

Hillary and Bill are very selfish couples who love the limelight so much that they would do anything to bask in it, even if it means that millions of Americans will remain on welfare or earn just a few more dollars but cannot afford healthcare, save for retirement, or send their children to college. They would keep their "good" ideas till they are president. Why in the world can you not begin to make this difference as a senator! Why should you bring everyone down around you just to succeed? This is atrocious and as Bill Clinton told Jessica Yellin yesterday, "This election ought to belong to those people who are out here asking questions" unquote. Not to Bill or Hillary. We are the ones going through the aches and pain, not them.

America, wake up! How long has Bill and Hillary been contriving their "White House comeback"? Let's look at the timeline: Bill leaves office; he moves to Harlem to court the minority voters; he uses this leverage to win his wife, Hillary, the senatorial position of New York; they use her new position to continue to court voters; and Hillary would continue to propagate how well the Clinton's era boomed as George Bush and the Republicans grapple with the economy and other issues facing Americans (poor ole George! he himself did not understand the Clinton's political machine-"what ever it takes!"). They surely do miss the comfort and power of the white house! What a selfish motive to run for president of this great nation in the "whole wide world"!

I do hope we will begin to see them as they really are: two couples who do not care so much for our cause, but who just want to be president and president! No, I did not stutter. They just want to be president and president. Although Hillary will be the presid
ent by law which is not going to happen, Bill will be the one who runs the daily affairs of this country. Sorry, we don't want any more scandals. I do not think the Democratic Party can afford any more scandals. Two Clintons in the white house mean "scandal". Americans have gone through too much. It is time we elect an outsider, somebody new, somebody with a message of hope, somebody who can change the "trajectory" of this nation in a “transformative” way, somebody who understands what is going on in the lives of Americans every day, and somebody who has walked alongside the poor and the oppressed to improve the lives of these people. I do believe that the American people are informed and will agree with me that it is time to part with the Clintons.
